    At the moment…no. The Earth is still very active, and will be for millions of years to come – in fact the heat from the Earth helps us to live on this planet. They are something we will have to learn to live with.

    Sadly I dont think so no. But we are learning more and more about them so hopefully we’ll be able to detect them with enough warning that we can get all the ppl out or something one day.

    Alas no (at least not yet) – but we can try to manage the effects of earthquakes.

    No I don’t think we can avoid earthquakes, but I think we can control how much damage they do by being well prepared and engineering buildings and systems well to cope with them.
