• Question: can i be a scientist please?

      You already are! 🙂

      But to do it for a job you just need to study hard at school and then go to uni, and one day you too can be a scientist.

      Yeah sure! Just complete your GCSEs, A-Levels and degree and we’ll get started! 🙂

      If you are interested, and you haven’t done work experience, why don’t you look in your local area for research centres? It’s a great way to spend a week or two!

      Absolutely! But it’s not just a matter of me saying “you’re a scientist”. I hope you like studying science subjects at school and will keep studying them. If you still want to be a scientist then study something at University to do with science. Good luck and let me know if you have any more detailed questions about becoming a scientist…

      Yes. You don’t have to have any qualifications to do science. Find what interests you and do it. Getting a job in science requires qualifications. Work hard and you can do it. There’s no such thing as a type of person that can do science. From the moment we are born we are experimenting with the universe that’s why baby’s put things in their mouth.
