• Question: how much does it cost for astronauts to eat a healthy amount of food?

      Not very much…in fact you can actually buy your own! If you ask your teacher they might get some for you! It’s not incredibly delicious (I had the peaches…blegh!), but it’s got nutrients that are needed to stay healthy!

      I’m not actually sure, but astronaut food in the Science Museum is really expensive and you only get like three freeze dried strawberries!

      I’m not sure really – I think the main cost would be in getting it up into space though. It costs something like £10,000 to put just 1kg into orbit at the moment.
