• Question: is there a unified theory explaining all correlated electron systems?

      If you mean a ‘Unified Theory’ of everything joining relativity [General and Special] with quantum theory then no but the Super String and Brane Theory people are having good debates about it.

      I don’t know much about correlated electron systems… as for whether there’s a ‘unified’ theory I’m not even sure of which theory governs the systems, whether or not it’s unified!
