  Well after uni I just applied for a few different PhD and was offered this one, but I worked at my lab when I was an undergrad doing a summer placement and work experience so that helped me get my job.
  
  I dont know the owner of NASA no, but I do know a lot of prolific and famous scientists in the fields of pulsars and planetary science 😀
