• Question: what doyou find interesting about astronomy?

      A big question – because there are loads of things I find particlarly interesting! I think some of the exoplanets – planets we are finding orbiting different stars, are different to how some of the planets in our solar system are – for example one called WASP-12 is made of carbon, but is so hot this has probably become diamond!

      I find astronomy interesting because by looking into space, you are actually looking back in time! The light that you see was emitted from some objects millions, even billions of years ago – some of the stars we can see with the light just arriving at earth may not even exist any more!
