I sometimes feel like space chose me, rather than me choosing space! How geeky 🙂
Well first I decided that I was interested in physics, because my physics teacher told me I was good at it and I liked being good at things.
Then I went to see Apollo 13 in the cinema and I realised I wanted to go into space, and luckily physics could be the way I got to do this.
The reasons I love space is the way it can make you feel so small and insignificant. The Earth is a tiny speck in our galaxy, and our galaxy is a tiny speck in the universe.
I love how Earth looks from space, and how beautiful galaxies, planets and planetary nebula look. I love the idea of microgravity and the fact that everything is made from stardust.
I could go on and on about the wonders of space, but I don’t want to bore you 🙂
Space inspires me, and I hope it can inspire you too!
