• Question: what planets closer enviromentally to earths (doesnt have to be in this solar system )i know of one that is similar but i dont know its name but its directly in between 2 suns and the only planet in its solar system

      The closest planets to our own are Mars and Venus – they are similar because of their thin atmospheres and sizes. We are finding planets around other stars (exoplanets) all of the time now, and some say that there could be up to 2 billion Earth-like planets in our galaxy alone. As to one that’s like Earth, so far we haven’t observed – some are similar sizes, but they are all very close to their star, and too hot to have life on them. I haven’t heard of the planet you are talking about – if you find out what it is called let me know!

      Ooo I’m not sure about outside of our Solar System. Right now we think Titan (Saturn’s largest moon) is very similar to Earth environmentally, but Earth a few billion years ago. So if we could go back to Titan in a few billion years there might be people living on it!
