I am a Nuclear Physicist, but I also do a lot of work looking at reactions in stars. I hope to become a doctor next year, and I hope to be able to get a job working at a lab in a foreign country after that to do experiments with some of the particle accelerators. I’d like to come back to England to teach at universities…and maybe write a book! I think that would be a good achievement!

I’m a mixture between a computer scientist and an astrophysicist. I would to figure out to take the massive volume of data that astronomy now has and find all the amazing results that lie within. Astronomy has too much data now – because of advance sin technology in the last 15 years – and finding the interesting stuff is getting harder all the time.

Hi there, I’m a physicist and I design particle accelerators. I’m quite a practical scientist and am sometimes even called an engineer! In the future I hope that my work will make a difference to the lives of people.

Hehe that is a pretty subjective q 🙂
In an ideal world I’d like to think I would be the best kind of scientist who goes down in history for changing the world, wins Nobel prizes and is the first woman on Mars 🙂
The reality is right now I feel really stupid and like a rubbish scientist. I feel like I dont know whats going on half the time! But, Ive been told that it is a natural feeling for final year PhD students so I have a few months left to feel like this 🙂
