There’s loads of things I like – travelling, getting to play with some very expensive pieces of equipment, but what I really love is communicating science! It doesn’t matter if it’s talking to other physicists, or talking to you guys – science is such an important part of our lives it’s vital to pass on the information to the next generation! I love discussing theoretical things – and even in the past week, you guys have really challenged every region of my knowledge. We don’t know everything, but the more we learn, the more we understand our universe.

There’s more about this on my profile, but my favourite part is probably the people and the travel. It’s inspiring to work with so many intelligent interesting people all day, and I love to discover new places like Japan and next year China!

It’s fun! I like learning new things and in my work I get to meet lots of interesting people – mostly scientists. Also, anyone can like science and ask scientific questions – its easy to be a scientist and not be one professionally – it’s accessible to all.

I think learning something new, or discovering something that no one else has found before! I also love presenting my work and my passion to other people and doing stuff like this!
