• Question: What's your favourite piece of mathematics?

      I think Maxwell’s equations are amazing – four general equations that describe so much physics – they even condense to two equations in their covarient form with the EM field tensor…there’s something so elegant about them!

      Good question. My favourite piece of maths is actually very simple:
      1+1=2
      Because you can’t prove it or derive it, it just is! 🙂

      I love Maxwell’s equations, combining electro and magnetic forces and describing classical electrodynamics. I couldn’t do my work without them!
