Well ultimately it’s your decision and I think you should think carefully about who has the best idea or the most money-wise idea! In the future you will be able to vote in the elections as to which political party you want to make decisions in the future, and you should always see what their ideas are for where to spend the money in the country are – sometimes you shouldn’t just think “how will this benefit me?”, you should think about how will this benefit a lot of people, how value for money it is, or how useful it is.

I think my ideas for outreach are value for money – with the comodome planetarium I can benefit a lot of students – I think it’s value for money, and it’s exciting and inspiring! The money will also go towards performances that can really explain important things to young children and entertain them, as well as help them to learn!
      Do read Suzie’s, Sheila’s, Rob’s and Geoff’s ideas too!

      You shouldn’t! 🙂
Just vote for who has been the ‘best’ scientist for you in terms of answering your questions etc. Also look at what we’d all do with the prize money, because that might directly affect you!

Wow, lots of people have asked this question! I think you should vote for me and not the other scientists because I’ve been answering ALL the questions you send me (even if I don’t know the answer), attending all the live chats I can and because if I win, I’m going to give the money back to you guys in the form of two £250 prizes to put towards the best ideas for science projects.
The other reason you should vote for me is because of my research in particle accelerators – it has such big implications in SO many areas of science: from cancer treatment, new forms of energy, research in other scientific fields even to making chocolate taste better!

I’ll have to leave that up to you. Hopefully you’ll be in some live chats and have asked enough questions that you can decide.
